This hero is the protector of an ideal that was instituted many years ago. The ideal that all are welcome in a library as long as they understand the protocol of honor and respect due the institution in which they are entering. They must understand that this institution is a shrine of equality, the benevolent benefactor of free speech, the martyr of the lesser masses and the key holder to all that is worthwhile. This librarian will thwart any injustice to these ideals by placing their own personal safety and sanity at risk. "
